On Friday 8th August 2014, DJ Cuppy launched her “House of Cuppy” mixtape at the Kudeta Lounge, Victoria Island, Lagos. It was a star studded affair.
The event sponsored by Ciroc, also saw all the artistes featured on the compilation present to show support.
The strictly-by-invitation event kicked off with guests taking photos on the red carpet and various media outlets interviewing them.
Guests ate all the yummy delicacies available and were treated to glasses of wine, juice and Ciroc.
During the formal welcome speech by Maria Okanrende who introduced the Symphonica 7 String Quartet to play, a Q&A session was held, then Cuppy dressed in a Vintage pink dress talked about how each song was produced and the work ethic put behind the production of the House of Cuppy compilation.
DJ Cuppy later hit the decks, giving the crowd a great feel of what they came for. It was non stop fun.
Her father Nigerian business mogul Femi Otedola as well as Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote were present at the event.
